DeWitt continues to deal with RV petitions

The town of DeWitt is continuing on in the process of possibly exempting people in the Franklin Park neighborhood from a law which took effect in January. The law states RVs, boats and other large recreational vehicles cannot be parked in front of house for more than ten days a year.

Town planning board commissioner Dick Robb said he thinks the town planning board will make a recommendation to the town board this month about whether or not the town should hold a public hearing about the petitions.

Robb also said most people from DeWitt who attended the informational meeting about the petitions last week were angry about the law and wanted to be exempt.
